GITS, Waseda University had a small booth at the Expo Comm Wireless Japan 2006 recently held at the Tokyo Big Sight. A poster panel for the FSO Communication project undertaken at Matsumoto Lab was presented.
EXPO COMM WIRELESS JAPAN is the only event in Japan held annually which is specialized in Wireless & Mobile networks, Personal Area Networks, Internet ITS, Home networks, and other wireless technologies for Japan's advanced mobile society. This Exhibition and Conference is the only event that brings buyers and sellers together at the hub of Japan's wireless market, attracting over 34,000 industry professionals and 190 exhibitors. |

The annual MMLab summer zemi was held in Kiryu between August 5th and 6th this year. At least 30 people in total attended the zemi which was held at the Seifuen hotel in Kiryu.
Participants managed to attend the Kiryu Festival which was also held on the same day. |

Ms. Tanaka worked for GITS office till March 26, 2007. She was very helpful and friendly to all the students, specially to Matsumoto lab students. She always wished she could be the student of Matsumoto lab becuase this is the most active lab in Honjo in all aspects. Anyway, we will certainly miss her a lot! |
